Dave Bilbrough, UK Worship Music Pioneer, on the Hope FM Breakfast Show.

Written by on 3 July 2019

Most budding songwriters dream of their first composition becoming a global success. Usually it remains a dream. For Dave Bilbrough, however, the release of his 1997 song ‘Abba Father‘ saw him make a giant step into international music-writing recognition. Now, four decades in full-time Christian ministry and numerous albums later, he is recognised as one of Britain’s foremost worship leaders and songwriters.

Worship is all of our lives;

It’s how we react to other people,

It’s how we relate to other people,

And it’s how, ultimately, we give ourselves to God.

Dave Bilbrough

Dave speaks to Hope FM’s Blair Crawford about his career beginnings, his relationship with God, and his latest album, Hidden Kingdom.

Features plays of the tracks ‘Love That Never Dies’, and ‘Kingdoms’ – taken from his new album Hidden Kingdom, out now via Double Bil Media.
