David Smith

David has been working with Hope FM from January 2008 when he started presenting “Classical Delights” having been asked by another presenter to assist him with “Through the Gates” on Sunday evenings, a mix of worship songs and Traditional Hymns with Bible reading/prayer times.

He is retired but being a church organist demands much of his Sundays playing at various churches in the area. His specialty is of course Classical Music, Bach being his favourite composer but he also likes some modern worship songs.

David is married to Barbara, loves cricket, a great fan of test match special,  and lives in Burton, Christchurch.
