On-Air Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all competitions promoted by Hope FM (the “Station”), broadcast from Bournemouth. By entering any competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

• Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over unless otherwise specified.
• Employees of Hope FM, their immediate families, and affiliated companies are not eligible to enter.
• Entrants may be required to provide proof of age and identity.

3. How to Enter

• Entry methods will be stated on-air or via Hope FM’s official website and social media channels.
• Only entries received before the closing date will be considered.
• Hope FM accepts no responsibility for entries not received due to technical issues.

4. Prize Details

• Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Hope FM reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
• Winners are responsible for any expenses not expressly included in the prize.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

• Winners will be selected at random or by criteria specified in the competition details.
• The decision of Hope FM is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Winners will be contacted using the details provided at the time of entry. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, Hope FM reserves the right to offer the prize to another entrant.

6. Publicity

By entering the competition, winners agree to participate in promotional activity (including interviews, photos, and social media content) as reasonably required by Hope FM. Hope FM may use winners’ names and images in promotional material.

7. Data Protection

8. Disqualification

Hope FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or tampering with the competition process.

9. Liability

Hope FM accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in a competition or accepting a prize.

10. General

• Hope FM reserves the right to cancel, amend, or extend a competition at any time.
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Special Terms for Current Competition – "Hope FM’s Easter DAB Radio Giveaway"

• Entry to this specific competition is restricted to individuals residing within Dorset.
• Any entries received from outside Dorset will be deemed ineligible and will not be entered into the prize draw.
• This competition runs across five separate days. Each day’s competition closes at 8:00 PM on the same day. Entries received after that time will not be valid.
• Daily winners will be selected and contacted within 24 hours of the 8:00 PM deadline.
• Proof of residence may be required to claim the prize.
