Blair is Hope FM’s founder.

Having served the YMCA in a career spanning 40 years Blair is now retired but continues present on the radio station he established.

He is married to Jan and together they have four grown up children and to date five grandchildren.

Blair’s broadcasting career started in the city of Sheffield when he was appointed religious producer at commercial radio station Radio Hallam. He held this post for a period of seven years before leaving to take up the post of Chief Executive of YMCA Bournemouth.
