Derek lives in Bournemouth and is one of Hope FM’s longest serving presenters. He currently works in the voluntary sector as the Financial Projects Manager for Faithworks Wessex.

Derek is married with two grown up sons, one having died of cancer in July 2017, with a daughter-in-law and grandson in Australia. He enjoys music, and model railways.

He enjoys faith discussions particularly with good coffee.
