Dr Stringer has been a Bible Teacher and broadcaster for more than 50 years. Born in Enfield, Derek and his wife Pauline live in Broadstone, Dorset. They have two married daughters.

Formerly a church pastor in Rugby and Salford, he has preached and taught in more than 40 countries, including TV for ITN and radio shows in more than a hundred countries.

Derek has written more than a dozen books on the Christian lifestyle as well as Bible commentaries. His most recent book 'The Gospel Of Isaiah' is a devotional commentary. In his retirement he is a guest Professor in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He continues to preach at Church services and Bible Conferences. He has been preaching every week on big screens in five continents to more than two hundred churches.
